Dronehub’s entering the US market
As underlined by Dronehub’s CEO and founder, Vadym Melnyk, winning the GeniusNY program (read more here) significantly boosts the whole process of entering the American market.
So what are the next steps?
1 – Certification of our solution in the USA.
Ultimately, we want to be able to conduct drone missions throughout the USA in BVLOS mode, which requires multiple permits and system certifications. The process at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is long and complicated. However, we want to close this topic by the end of the first half of 2023. Having certification from the FAA opens up the sky over the entire USA, and still very few drone companies have gone through this process.
2 – Building a demo-room at Griffiss International Airport (New York state).
It is one of 7 places in the US where you can fly in BVLOS mode without specific permission from the FAA. Dronehub demo-room will allow us to show the functionality of the Dronehub system to potential customers and investors. In the first half of 2023, we plan to ship one of our hubs to the US and install the entire system at Griffiss International Airport.
In addition, in the first half of 2023, after opening a demo-room at Griffiss International Airport, we plan to hire 1-2 local drone operators who – after training with our operators – will conduct drone flights and operate the hub.
3 – Development of our cloud system.
A large part of the funds, that we will get as winners of Genius NY, we want to allocate to the cloud to adjust the software to the needs and requirements of American companies.
Of course, we will also actively take part in conferences and trade fairs in the USA, as well as the active building of a network of contacts – with clients, investors and partners. That is why our CEO Vadym Melnyk has moved to the USA and from the spot he manages the processes in the USA we are talking about above.
