Summary of 2022 at Dronehub

We can definitely say that 2022 was a breakthrough year for our company. The main celebration of the year was the Dronehub’s participation and victory in the mighty GeniusNY competition. But there were also other stories and successes that marked the past year – let’s recall them here.

We kept you informed about our participation in the GeniusNY programme – the largest competition for startups in our industry in the world. In August, it turned out that we were the winners of this race, which gave us a huge boost in our expansion into the US market.

Let’s take a look at our path to the half-million dollar prize again: first we made it to the semi-finals, then Dronehub was announced as the winner, and finally at the grand gala we received a beautiful check for USD 500,000.

The matter has not gone unnoticed by the media – it’s always nice when your company marks the story of the day in the industry’s top-media like ISBtech (PL) or ATC-network (EN).

In mid-2022, we also presented to the general public the effects of our – and our partners’ from 5 European countries – work on the Uspace4UAV system.

This is a large project implemented for the European Union, which affects the regulations and the future of drone flights over the EU cities. We recall this special day here.

Another implementation that made 2022 special for us was the launch of the HUUVER hybrid drone. Our drone combines the most useful and necessary features of a flying drone with a riding drone.

The presentation of our drone made a huge impression on the UAV industry and the media from all around the world wrote about it in Chinese, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Slovak, Spanish, Azerbaijani, Greek or French. Thanks to our superb PR team, this news has been covered by more then 110 publications in 15 different languages!

The last 12 months have also been a busy time of meetings with our partners, customers and the entire drone community. We discussed together our achievements and development plans, as well as the future of the entire UAV industry, at numerous trade shows and conferences.

In 2022 you could have met us at the most important events in Brussels, Dubai, Katowice, Warsaw, Amsterdam, Torun, or Buffalo, NY.

We also bragged about another successful project that we co-created in 2022.

Meet AUDROS – or AUtonomous DROne System – a tool that uses drone technology to capture intruder drones.

So, as you see 2022 was pretty engaging, challanging and successful. Just like the 2021 – don’t forget to check the part 1 and part 2 of Dronehub’s 2021 Summary.
