Capability Statement

Autonomous drone
infrastructure IP. US-owned.

Engineered across six+ funded R&D programmes. Manufactured on a non-adversarial supply chain. Dronehub is a US-owned small business that licenses autonomous drone infrastructure IP — charging stations, docking systems, and package-logistics blueprints — and manufactures sensitive hardware in Europe with zero components from China or sanctioned states. We do not sell drones or a software platform. We provide the IP, the hardware infrastructure, and the R&D partnership that operators, defense primes, and federal program offices build on.

What is a capability statement?

A capability statement is the one-page summary a government program office or defense prime uses to evaluate a vendor — what we do, what makes us different, what we have already delivered, and how we comply with federal supply-chain rules. Dronehub's covers autonomous drone infrastructure IP, counter-UAS and public-safety autonomy, hybrid UAV-UGV systems, and sovereign EU manufacturing.

We are a US-owned small business that does three things: license the IP for operators and integrators, run joint R&D partnerships for governments and defense, and contract-manufacture sensitive hardware for primes and IP owners who cannot ship offshore. Everything below is funded, built, and independently validated.

Core competencies

The autonomy layer where drone operations actually break.

Five capability areas — engineered, funded, and field-tested. Each is licensed as IP, delivered through R&D partnership, or manufactured on our sovereign EU line.

  • Autonomous ground infrastructure IP

Mobile and stationary charging/docking stations and automatic battery-swap systems — the layer where drone autonomy actually breaks (landing, charging, redeployment). Licensed as engineered mechanical and electronic blueprints with manufacturing handoff and integration support.

  • Counter-UAS & public safety

Autonomous docking and interceptor autonomy from the ESA + EDA AUDROS programme, including net-capture counter-drone and CBRN-response use cases tested with allied military research institutes.

  • Hybrid UAV-UGV autonomy

Flying-and-driving platforms with Galileo authentication integration, developed as EU-consortium lead under EUSPA / HORIZON Europe.

  • Drone package & medical logistics

Autonomous cargo docking and battery-swap logistics IP, proven across funded medical-resupply R&D programmes.

  • Sovereign EU manufacturing

Airframes, charging/docking infrastructure, and electromechanical assemblies produced in the Aviation Valley aerospace cluster (Jasionka, Poland) with full chain-of-custody for sensitive bills of materials.

Engagement models: (1) license the IP — operators and integrators; (2) joint R&D partnership — governments and defense; (3) contract manufacturing — primes and IP owners who cannot ship sensitive hardware offshore.

Differentiators

Why a program office can sign off in one round.

A rare US-entity-plus-EU-R&D-depth combination — and the independent validation to back it.

  • US-owned, SBIR/STTR-eligible

Fully US-owned through founder EB1A approval; structured to prime SBIR/STTR and to pursue AFWERX Open Topic and DIU CSO pathways.

  • US-entity + EU-R&D-depth

A rare combination — federal-procurement-eligible in the US, backed by six+ funded R&D programmes with ESA, EDA, EUSPA, and the European Commission.

  • Sovereign-grade by design

Non-adversarial, NATO-allied supply chain with zero components from China or sanctioned states. Section 848 / 889 / 1260H compliant by design.

  • An R&D lab, not a catalog vendor

First SME ever jointly backed by ESA and EDA. Partners access the team and IP behind the work.

  • Independently validated

98/100 European Defence Agency score on a CBRN programme; Financial Times 1000 #2 in Aerospace & Defense (Europe, 2023); recognized global leader in the autonomous drone-in-a-box segment by Drone Industry Insights.

Past performance

Funded programmes that shipped.

Public funding, named agencies, grant numbers. ESA, EDA, EUSPA, the European Commission, Poland's NCBiR, and a US non-dilutive award — the evidence base your evaluation panel can verify.

  • AUDROS (ESA + EDA)

Autonomous counter-UAS and public-safety system; first SME in history jointly backed by the European Space Agency and European Defence Agency. Counter-drone net-capture and CBRN-response capability tested in the Czech Republic (2022) with allied military technical and research institutes.

  • HUUVER (EUSPA / HORIZON Europe)

Hybrid UAV-UGV platform; EU-consortium lead, Grant No. 870236, total budget approx. EUR 1.62M. First drone with full Galileo authentication integration.

  • ESA Business Applications

Autonomous battery-swap docking technology (initial EUR 250K contract) and the SIS-SREM safety system.

  • U-Space4UAM (SESAR JU / HORIZON 2020)

EU urban-air-mobility demonstration, Grant Agreement No. 101017643; pre-application regulatory evidence for autonomous BVLOS operations.

  • NCBiR (Poland)

AIRVEIN drone-based medical logistics (PLN 4.94M) and a mobile drone charging/docking station capable of battery swap while in motion (PLN 6.885M).

  • GENIUS NY (Syracuse, NY)

USD 500K non-dilutive award (2022), establishing US operations.

Compliance & supply chain

Engineered for formal program review.

Dronehub does not claim Blue UAS clearance, DoD approval, or ITAR registration absent the corresponding formal program action. Supply-chain compliance is engineered for, and ready for, formal program review.

  • Section 848, 889, and 1260H compliant by design.

  • Non-adversarial, NATO-allied supply chain — zero components from China or sanctioned states.

  • Sovereign EU manufacturing in the Aviation Valley aerospace cluster (Jasionka, Poland) with full chain-of-custody.

  • US-owned small business, fully US-owned through founder EB1A approval; SBIR/STTR-eligible.

  • EU + US data sovereignty.
